When you need to leave your current device (such as when leaving a job or changing devices), you can follow these steps to deactivate Eagle software and clean up personal data, ensuring privacy security and providing a clean environment for the next user.

Deactivation Steps

Click the software menu and select "Remove Activation Status..."
Completely exit and close Eagle software

Clean Device Environment

Click the Win button in the lower left corner, search for "%appdata%", and click the search result
Find and delete the folder named "Eagle" from the list

Important Notes

After completing the above steps, this device will no longer retain any personal usage traces related to your Eagle software, while ensuring the software license is properly unbound.
Eagle serial numbers are only used to activate the software and do not have any online account or cloud storage backup features. If you need to continue using organized resource content on a new device, be sure to completely backup and transfer library content to the new device before leaving the current device, to avoid recreating or reorganizing work.
