Import Failure Cause Analysis

When Eagle exports eaglepack material packages, it ensures that the exported package is complete. Therefore, the inability to import a material package is usually not due to problems during the initial export, but may be due to the following reasons:

Common Issue Troubleshooting

1. Material Package Corrupted or Incomplete

If the material package was copied from another device or downloaded from the internet, it is recommended to re-copy or re-download the file. For larger files, please ensure a stable network connection or use software with resume capability for downloading.

2. Software Exception

Try restarting the Eagle application or restarting your device to confirm whether the issue is caused by an unstable computer state.

3. Insufficient Computer Storage Space

Check whether your storage device has sufficient available space to store the materials to be imported. If space is insufficient, please clean up some unnecessary files.

Manual Method to Extract Material Package Contents

If you wish to manually extract the original files from the material package, you can follow these steps:

Make a copy of the material package
Change the file extension of the copied material package from .eaglepack to .zip
Open the zip file and check if the contents include pack.json and the image info folder
- Missing any essential file will cause import failure
Open the info folder and check if the original files exist completely
If the original files still exist, you can re-import these original files as needed
- Note: Original tags, comments, and links need to be manually added again
