Cause 1: Using "Sync Tools" for Cross-Device Operations

As a local application, Eagle requires its library to be physically stored on the local machine for proper reading and display. When using sync tools, there may be situations where library file data is not completely downloaded to the local device, with some files only existing in the cloud and only placeholders stored locally.

Solution:

Check sync integrity on all devices
Ensure all library data and files on local and cloud storage are completely synchronized and consistent

Cause 2: Software Cache Issues or Incomplete Material Content

If you are not using sync tools, the problem may be due to cache anomalies or corrupted image files.

Solution Steps:

Open the library and select "Clear Cache and Reload"
If the problem persists, on the "All" page, hold Ctrl + left mouse click on the library name and select "Repair damaged metadata.json files"
If the problem still isn't resolved, the original files for these blank frames may have been lost. Execute the following steps to clear invalid files:

Hold Ctrl + left mouse click on the library name and select "Scan and Clear Invalid Content"
Select "Reload Library"
Open the hidden menu again and select "Scan and Clear Invalid Content"
Select "Repair Invalid Content"
After completion, invalid files will be moved to the "Trash"
Go to the "Trash" to confirm the cleared files, and after verification, right-click and select "Empty Trash"

Important Notes

Do not close Eagle or restart your computer during the repair process
It is recommended to backup your library before performing important repair operations
If the problem persists, you may need to check whether the storage device has physical damage
